Evan!!

Let me tell ya....now, I dont know what kind of strike is going on over there, but it is great/frustrating to be amongst a strike while traveling. I was in NYC during the MTA strike (for three whole days MTA workers refused to work, which meant NO public transportation was running) which was also during xmas time (Winter...cold/snow/ice...trendy scarfs..u know) and the whole city could be seen walking over ever bridge in the city. It was so cool to be amongst millions of New Yorkers walking over bridges they constantly took for granted prior to this event. Red Cross was even handing out hot chocolate almost as to say 'congratulations! You made it across.....oh yeah, and though you might be cold'. People had to suffer those three days, but it reminded all of them how much they really did love their city and the people in it.

Again, dont know what kind of strike ur in, but it reminds me of when I was traveling and I was in the middle of a strike. I always think its amazing when I see people standing up for their rights.

Well, wow, your in Europe! Hope ur having a blast....bet u r. Going to see your sisters digs in august...cant wait! Maybe our paths will cross soon and u can tell me all of ur adventures over their in person....but until then I will vicariously live through your blogs.
